Even pilots and flight attendants need to sleep when they're up in the air on a long haul flight. But where do they go? Where do they sleep? In secret cabins of course! Check it out below:
Boeing 777 and 787 planes have secret stairways to tiny rooms for the crew. They are located behind the cockpit and above first class.
The stairway:
Some planes have a secret hatch that look like luggage bins.
And there's also a sign for it.
The rooms have no windows and they're pretty cramped with 8 beds in a Boeing 787 Dreamliner.
OVerhead rooms can fit up to 10 bunks in Boeing 777s.
Pilots have their own sleeping area, with two roomy beds and two business-class seats.
The beds are 6 feet long and 2 and a half feet wide.
No more than one person per bunk to prohibit mile high action.
The bunks come with pillows, blankets..
Not too shabby.
In fact, better than your seats!
Though some bunks look like capsule hotels.
